QUALIFICATIONS
Once you have obtained your Private Pilot Licence (PPL), you can choose one of the following additional qualifications:
– Night flight qualification : If you choose the night flight qualification, you will be able to fly in the evening and enjoy the splendor of night views. This qualification is mandatory for commercial licenses (CPL), airline pilot licenses (ATPL). Requirements
A Private License (PPL) and the Instrument Flight Regulation (IFR) rating – or a higher rating.
– Multi-engine rating : This rating is only required for the Airline Pilot Licence (ATPL). The multi-engine rating gives you the ability to fly an aircraft with two or more engines, if you plan to become a commercial pilot. Requirements
A private license (PPL) and the IFR instrument reading qualification – or another higher qualification.
– VFR qualification: This qualification is not mandatory, however it is integrated into the training programs for the private pilot license.
– Instrument flight rating : This rating allows you to fly multi-engine aircraft in suboptimal weather conditions and with reduced visibility. – It is recommended for private pilot licenses and is necessary for future airline pilots.
Requirements : A Private License (PPL) or other higher qualification
– Instructor Rating : This rating allows commercial pilots to give theoretical and practical courses for flight training. It is an ideal opportunity for pilots to accumulate flight hours and gain experience that will allow them to fly light charter aircraft, do bush flying, fire patrol and ultimately become airline pilots.
Requirements : A valid Commercial License (CPL) with Category 1 Medical.

RECREATIONAL PILOT LICENSE (RPP)
If you're eager to fly and be in command of an aircraft, the Recreational Pilot Licence (RPP) is the ideal qualification for you. In less than a month and with only 25 hours of flight time, you can obtain your recreational licence, which will allow you to fly single-engine and single-engine piston aircraft anywhere in Canada during daylight hours, with the only restriction being a single passenger on board.
Requirements:
– The candidate must be 16 years old to fly solo for the first time and to obtain his license.
– A valid Canadian Aviation Medical Certificate of Category 1, 3 or 4.
Once the leisure license has been obtained, the student can move on to the next stage and obtain their private license (PPL).
Transport Canada requirements:
25 hours of total flight time with a minimum of:
– 15 hours with instructor, including 2 hours of cross-country
– 5 hours solo
– flight test
– Transport Canada written exam

PRIVATE PILOT LICENSE (PPL)

With a private pilot license, you will be able to fly a single-engine piston aircraft anywhere in Canada and the United States, during the day.
You'll need to complete 45 hours of flight time to obtain your Private Pilot License (PPL). These hours will count toward your Commercial Pilot License (CPL) if you wish to continue your flight training. Contact us for more information at 514-315-8762.

THE COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENSE (CPL)
The commercial pilot license allows you to work as an airline pilot in Canada.
By obtaining the Commercial Pilot License (CPL), the doors will be wide open for you to begin a flourishing career.
Requirements:
– 18 years old to obtain the license
– a private pilot license
– pass the category 1 medical examination
Transport Canada requirements
A total of 200 flight hours, with a minimum of:
100 hours as pilot in command
35 hours with instructor, including 5 hours of “cross-country”
(2 must be at night)20 hours of instrument time
(10 hours can be recorded in a simulator)30 hours of solo training, (5 of which must be at night)
A 300 nautical mile cross-country flight with three stops.

AIRLINE PILOT LICENSE (ATPL)
With an airline transport pilot license, you will be able to fly as a pilot or co-pilot for an airline.
Requirements:
– A valid commercial license (CPL)
– Pass the category 1 medical examination
– Be at least 21 years old to obtain the airline transport pilot license (ATPL)
– 1500 flight hours before receiving the license.
