WORK PERMIT FOR OUR STUDENTS
International students completing our AEC Commercial Pilot License program may apply for their Work Permit in accordance with the regulations established by the Government of Canada's Department of Immigration and Citizenship. Please contact us for more information.
ACCOMMODATION
Given that our students include both working and pursuing further education, our students have diverse needs. This is why the College of Aeronautics offers flexible schedules to facilitate their training.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT / CAR RENTAL
Depending on the student's preference for the housing option that best suits their needs, we have structured the necessary public transportation routes, which will be explained during registration. If the student wishes to rent a car or wishes to purchase a used car, we can assist them. Students can also receive an Opus (metro) card at a discounted rate.
FINANCIAL AID FOR OUR STUDENTS
Canadian citizens and permanent residents who meet certain conditions can apply for student financial assistance under the Quebec government's Loans and Bursaries Program.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY EXAMS
Pour tout étudiant qui souhaite recevoir une licence, il doit avoir un niveau acceptable d’anglais général et d’aviation en fonction des normes de l’OACI. Les pilotes étudiants doivent être en mesure de communiquer efficacement afin de poursuivre une carrière en tant que pilote international. Tous les étudiants (y compris les anglophones d’origine) doivent effectuer un examen d’aptitude linguistique en langue anglaise, qui sert à déterminer la compétence linguistique de l’étudiant. L’examen durera environ 20 minutes et sera administré en personne ou par téléphone par un examinateur qualifié. Notre Collège offre un tutorat collectif ou privé pour la préparation à l’examen.
